Rapid Identity TOTP Setup
- Step 1
Go to your desktop and visit the portal. On the portal, you will be presented with the login screens as usual.
Enter your myVCCS username and click “Go”
Then, enter your password
You will be presented with the TOTP setup screen.
Step 2
Download RI PingMe
On the TOTP setup screen
Scan the QR code presented with your phone CAMERA APP. It will then direct you to the application download screen.
If you can't scan the QR code:
Open your smartphone’s app store (either the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store).
Search for "RapidIdentity".
Download the app for free.
After the application is downloaded, click the NEXT button on your screen.
Step 3:
Open the Rapid Identity Application
Tap the + sign on the upper right corner
Tap “Scan QR Code”
Step 4:
After selecting “Scan Barcode” your camera will show a box on the phone screen.
Center the “box” over the QR code, and Ping Me will automatically create a new item in your list of systems with the name “myVCCS-new”
Click Next to continue.
Step 4: Final Step
Enter code displayed on your Ping Me application
